We want to highlight the beauty and uniqueness of the St. Paul skyway system while giving runners an unforgettable experience to run through one of the things that makes Minnesota so “one of a kind.”

Route

This course weaves through the St. Paul Skyway system, carrying you past city landmarks and familiar buildings in a completely new way.

Not your typical 5k

Unlike a traditional outdoor road race, this course features stairs, turns, and changes in flooring as it moves through connected buildings and skyways. Participants should expect a dynamic route that feels more like navigating the city than running a straight-line course. Wether you’re walking or running, staying aware and running at a comfortable pace is encouraged.

The course is designed to be ADA compliant, utilizing accessible routes within the skyway system. The course includes posted detours for stairs (to elevators) to accommodate participants with mobility needs.

Parking

The start & finish is in the Union Depot- click here for parking map. There are a large number of parking options both here, and in the local area. Street parking, ride share and light rail are all also options!

Children

Children in strollers are not required to register

Registration

Our registration page is here (or click any of the the sign me up buttons). It is through Race Roster, a third party company that handles all levels of the registration process including transfers, refunds and payment.

Packet Pickup

Packet Pick Up: Thursday, February 26th 2:30 - 6:30PM at Summit Brewing Company Taproom AND on Race Day starting at 8AM.

Heats

This race will be chip timed. There will be multiple heats self organized upon your anticipated finishing time. Bib numbers are assigned at registration.

What should I Wear?

We suggest light running clothes as it's climate controlled on the inside! Please bring a second pair of shoes (to have a dry pair) for the race. We will have a complimentary coat check/ bag drop.

CAN I WALK?

YES! Runners and walkers of all paces are welcome.

Race Day

Union Depot is where we will start and end our journey! We will have a complimentary coat check/ bag drop. Please bring a second pair of shoes (to have a dry pair) for the race. There will be water stations & bathrooms along the route. Spectator areas will be available and noted along the path. Expect a high energy DJ at start/finish, photo booth and a post race party to celebrate your newly found bragging rights. Also- don’t forget to utilize your race day perks!
